Featuring Mr Tim Lucey, Cork County Council Chief Executive

Tim Lucey is the Chief Executive of Cork County Council and has been heading up the Council for almost 7 years, having taken up the role in February 2014. While the County Council’s primary role is of course infrastructural developments including housing, roads, planning & the environment, the remit of the Council is also to support and engage with other stakeholders including libraries, fire service, community fundraising, LEADER and arts and heritage. The Chief Executive will focus on parts of the Chamber 2 Year Plan and will look at key areas of that plan including roads infrastructure, town regeneration, Spike Island development and community funding as well as of course the draft County Development Plan in advance of opening for public consultation in April of this year.
